Have you ever thought of eating a classic diner type food? Maybe something that gives you a feeling of nostalgia like eating a homemade breakfast before school. Well with this easy tasty recipe you can definitely get those feelings. This recipe is one that me and my best friends made about a year ago when we were living in the dorm. We wanted to use the electric griddle to make lots of food at once, but since we didn’t have a ton of room we had to cook it on our bathroom counter(we cleaned every time we were going to cook). Right below here I will list the ingredients needed to make these sandwiches.
INGREDIENTS:
8 large eggs
1 box of 5 cheese Texas toast ( 8 pieces of bread)
8 sausage patties or 8 strips of bacon
4 slices of American cheese (optional)
Serves 4

How to Make!
- In a pan or griddle or however you are making this start by frying the bacon or sausage in the pan until completely cooked through and warm
- In the same place cook the eggs in the grease to give an extra bit of flavor to the eggs (cook to your preference I like mine without runny yolks.)
- After the eggs on the same place place the Texas toast to warm it and melt the cheese on the bread.
- prepare the sandwich by placing one egg on the bottom of the bread place sausage or bacon or both if you are willing and an optional slice of cheese on the meat, place one more egg and close the sandwich.

This recipe is one that is extremely easy to make and the most expensive part is usually the sausage or bacon meaning its a cheap filling meal.
These look delicious! I love eating breakfast foods for dinner 🙂

Sounds delicious! This reminds me of my time in the barracks with my husband. We hadn’t gotten married yet and were living on base in California. Like you, we didn’t have a lot of room for cookware but made it work with a skillet, rice cooker, and coffeemaker. You can do a lot with a skillet! Good post.
