Let me start with saying that I really do enjoy barbecue it’s like one of my favorite things to eat in general. Pulled pork and ribs being my two favorites and I’m also a big fan of spice so this one is really really good to me
Ingredients
- A small pork shoulder (3-5 pounds)
- 24 oz of dr pepper(2 cans)
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 table spoon of hot sauce
- I can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Instructions
- Preheat to 300 degrees
- Season the pork with salt and pepper
- Pour the chipotle pepper can and the Dr Pepper into a pot with the pork and brown sugar
- Cover and let sit in the oven for about 5 to 6 hours (or until falling apart)
- Shred the meat and add the hot sauce into the pot
- Strain out the fat and return the meat to the pot so it can soak up the juice some more
